We Can Recover.

the Back From Broken Foundation

Our mission is fundamentally about inspiring hope and promoting greater awareness regarding the persistent challenges of addiction and mental health that many individuals face daily. We strive to achieve this meaningful goal by sharing valuable recovery experiences and powerful stories of resilience that effectively highlight the incredible strength of the human spirit. We do this through the transformative power of storytelling, the healing properties of music, and the critical bonds formed in fostering genuine care and understanding in others.

So Many Roads

Bringing the BFBF “We Can Recover” message to schools, rehab centers, detox centers, drug courts and jails/prisons. We meet people “where they are” while promoting the message that recovery is possible. We especially focus on rural and low-income communities that often don’t have enough resources to help those who are struggling with addiction or mental health issues.

Back from Barkin’

Pairing rescue animals with individuals in recovery creates a powerful healing opportunity. These animals provide love and support, fostering emotional resilience and a sense of purpose. Caring for rescue companions motivates individuals on their recovery journey, transforming lives and deepening understanding of compassion and connection. This bond is vital for building strong foundations.

“We can recover.”
